Refunds & Returns Policy

Food Items

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all food items are final sale.
We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on food items, except in the case of missing items from your order.

Missing Items (Partial Refunds Only)

If an item or add-on is missing from your order, we’re here to help.

• Partial refunds may be issued for missing products only

• Variations in packaging, presentation, or product availability do not qualify as missing items

To report a missing item, please email support@tokyobites.co.nz within 14 days of receiving your order, including:

• Your order number

• A clear photo of the items received

Once reviewed, we will confirm whether a partial refund is applicable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the incorrect product due to an error on our part, please contact us at support@tokyobites.co.nz within 14 days of delivery.
We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund has not appeared:

1. Check your bank account again

2. Contact your credit card provider

3. Contact your bank

Order Cancellations

Orders are prepared 2–3 working days before the scheduled delivery date.

• Cancellations made at least 2 working days before delivery are eligible for a full refund

• Cancellations made less than 2 working days before delivery may be eligible for a 50% refund if preparation has already begun

We cannot guarantee specific delivery times, but we’ll always try to get your order to you as fast as possible.

You can also pick up your order directly from our Auckland location if you prefer.

Payment

Returns & Refunds

Because we sell food items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for products that have been opened or consumed. However, if your order is missing items or you received the wrong products, we’ll offer you a partial refund or replacement.
